The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a new initiative for the 2025-26 academic session: a parenting calendar aimed at improving communication between schools and parents. Committee and Development Process

The committee developing the parenting calendar is led by Anuradha Joshi, Principal of Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi. Nine other principals from schools nationwide are part of the team, including Dr. Swati Popat Vats, President, Podar Education Network, Mumbai; Rekha Krishnan, Principal, Vasant Valley School, Delhi; and Manju Arif, Principal, Delhi Public School, Bangalore North. Their responsibilities include conducting virtual and in-person meetings, collaborating on decisions, and drafting the calendar. The final recommendations for the CBSE parenting calendar are expected by March 15, 2025.
