IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with Futurense, has unveiled the "PG Certificate in AI-Enabled Digital Marketing & MarTech," marking India's first comprehensive no-code AI marketing certification program. The six-month course is scheduled to begin on October 11, 2025, targeting marketing professionals seeking to integrate artificial intelligence into their workflows.

ChatGPT Study Mode Goes Live in India with 11 Languages
OpenAI has officially launched ChatGPT's Study Mode in India, offering free, multilingual, interactive learning support for students across educational levels. The AI-powered tool is now available in 11 Indian languages, providing step-by-step guidance through voice, image, and text interactions.
Revolutionary Learning Approach
Study Mode represents a fundamental shift from ChatGPT's traditional answer-providing function to active learning facilitation. Instead of delivering immediate solutions, the tool employs Socratic prompts, asks clarifying questions, provides hints, and guides students through problem-solving processes. This approach helps learners develop critical thinking skills while understanding concepts thoroughly.
Leah Belsky, VP of Education at OpenAI, noted that the tool has been tested by Indian students from diverse learning backgrounds and is optimised for mobile devices, making it accessible to both urban and rural users. The system adjusts to individual learning levels, from basic science concepts to advanced IIT-level mathematics problems.
Key Features and Accessibility
- Free Access: Available to all logged-in ChatGPT users across Free, Plus, Pro, and Team plans
- Multilingual Support: Operates in 11 Indian languages
- Versatile Input: Accepts voice, image, and text for flexible learning experiences
- Personalised Learning: Offers skill-based feedback, memory of past conversations, and customised quizzes
- Educational Range: Supports schoolwork, competitive exam preparation, and skill-based learning
The tool includes robust safety measures to prevent misuse during assignments or tests, with future updates planned to add video support, goal tracking, and enhanced visual elements.
IIM Mumbai Proposes Satellite Campus for Finance and Technology
The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai has submitted a proposal to the Maharashtra government for establishing a satellite campus in or around Mumbai, aligning with the state's "Viksit Maharashtra 2047" initiative. The proposed campus will focus on finance, technology, and regulatory disciplines, leveraging Mumbai's position as India's financial capital.
Strategic Academic Positioning
The satellite campus will offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs with specialized focus on economics, accounting and finance, technology and data science, and law and regulation. This interdisciplinary approach aligns with the National Education Policy 2020's emphasis on flexibility, innovation, and holistic development in higher education.
Professor Manoj K Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai, highlighted that the campus's proximity to key financial institutions—including RBI, SEBI, BSE, NSE, and headquarters of major banks, mutual funds, and insurance companies—will provide students with unmatched exposure to live policy frameworks and industry dynamics.
Infrastructure and Vision
The proposal includes comprehensive financial and infrastructure planning, positioning the campus as a training ground for professionals equipped to navigate digital finance, regulation, and emerging technology complexities. The initiative has received keen interest from Maharashtra's Department of Higher and Technical Education, with evaluation underway as part of broader educational transformation consultations.
Shailendra Deolankar, Director of Higher Education, confirmed that the proposal will be assessed within the state's educational policy framework, ensuring inclusivity, future-readiness, and global benchmarking standards.
