The Public Speaking Bootcamp by IIT Madras Pravartak is a one-day immersive Course designed to help school students build confidence, improve communication skills, and become effective public speakers. Through interactive, expert-led activities and practical exercises, students will learn how to structure their thoughts, communicate clearly, engage an audience, and overcome the fear of public speaking. Build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop the ability to express ideas effectively.

Public Speaking Bootcamp is designed to help school students develop the confidence and communication skills needed to speak effectively in front of an audience. Through an intensive one-day offline learning experience, students will participate in interactive activities, practical speaking exercises, and expert guidance.
The course focuses on helping students organize their thoughts, communicate ideas clearly, use effective body language, engage audiences, and build confidence while speaking in public.
The bootcamp aims to help students overcome stage fear, strengthen communication skills, and develop the confidence to express their ideas effectively in academic, personal, and future professional settings.

Vikram Sridhar is a Performance Storyteller, Theatre Practitioner, and a Narrative-based Facilitator combining his various interests and work over 20+ years in Theatre, Conservation and Social Work.
Based in Bangalore and Chennai, he has spoken at multiple events on the power of stories and theatre, like the TEDx and has been quoted in various media. He extensively travels the country performing and speaking at public spaces, community libraries, schools, corporations, business conferences, literary & cultural festivals for children, students and adults. With an engineering, Management and a law degree from institutes like SRM, IIT and NALSAR, Vikram moved on to be a full-time Arts Practitioner. He believes in the Desi way of Storytelling as a strong medium of conservation from nature to human relationships, as his stories are rooted in folklore, myths and legends inspired by various communities of the soil. He strongly believes 'A Story a Day keeps the Doctor Away,' not an apple.
