    • Widows of Defence Personnel: Maximum age is 35 years.

  3. Educational Qualification

    • Candidates must have completed an Engineering Degree or be in their final year of study.

    • Final-year students must submit proof of passing by October 1, 2025.

    • For Widows of Defence Personnel: Non-Tech Entry requires graduation in any discipline, while Tech Entry requires a B.E./B.Tech degree.

    • Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully.

  2. Selection Procedure

    • Shortlisting of applications based on the cut-off determined by the Indian Army.

    • Intelligence and Personality test by the Service Selection Board (SSB).

Training and Benefits
  • Training Location: Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

  • Training Duration: 49 weeks.

  • Stipend during Training: Rs 56,100 per month.

  • Rank after Training: Lieutenant.

  • Salary on Commissioning: CTC approx. 17-18 Lac per annum (excluding free medical cover and travel to hometown once a year).

  • Type of Commission: Short Service Commission with a minimum engagement period of 10 years and a maximum of 14 years.

NCC Special Entry 58 Course

    • Must be a citizen of India.

    • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Degree and a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate exam of NCC.

    • Final-year students are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively.
