NCERT Launches Bal Vatika TV Channel & DIKSHA 2.0

Marking its 65th foundation day, NCERT launched Bal Vatika, the PM eVidya DTH Channel No. 35, to deliver engaging audio-visual content for children aged 3–6, teachers, Anganwadi workers, and parents, enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy. Concurrently, DIKSHA 2.0 debuted with structured lessons, adaptive assessments, AI-powered Read Aloud, Closed Captioning, and multilingual text translation in 12 languages. Additional launches included PRASHAST 2.0 for early disability screening, Kitab Ek Padhe Anek inclusive textbooks for Classes 1–2, and VR labs in four demonstration schools. NCERT also unveiled a new entrance complex and released primers in Hindi, Sanskrit, Ho-Hindi, and Koya.

IIM Ahmedabad Inaugurates Madan Mohanka Centre of Excellence in Case Method

IIM Ahmedabad inaugurated the Madan Mohanka Centre of Excellence in Case Method of Learning, funded by alumnus Madan Mohanka. The centre aims to develop high-quality business case studies and train faculty and practitioners in case teaching, reinforcing IIM-A’s pioneering role in case-based pedagogy globally. It will host workshops, publish cases across sectors, and collaborate with industry to address evolving management education needs.

SSC Publishes List of 1,804 Tainted Bengal Teachers

The Staff Selection Commission released a list of 1,804 tainted teachers implicated in West Bengal’s school jobs scam, following investigations by the Central Bureau of Investigation and ED. These candidates face disqualification from future SSC examinations. The list aims to restore integrity in recruitment and deter fraudulent practices that compromised merit and trust in the public education system.

IBPS RRB PO/Clerk 2025 Registration Opens

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has opened IBPS RRB 2025 registration for Probationary Officer and Clerk posts. Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens aged 18–30 for PO and 18–28 for Clerk, with a graduate degree in any discipline. The online application window closes September 15, 2025. The preliminary exams are scheduled for October, followed by mains in November. Detailed eligibility, exam pattern, and application steps are available at ibps.in.
