CBSE Hosts Workshops to Strengthen Parent-School Collaboration for Child Growth

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has organized a series of workshops aimed at enhancing collaboration between parents and schools. These workshops, both online and offline, focus on fostering holistic child development by equipping school leaders with effective strategies to support parents in guiding their children's academic, social, and emotional growth.

One of the key upcoming workshops, titled "Empowering Connections: A Workshop on Effective Communication and Collaboration in Parenting and Education," will be held in collaboration with Podar Education Network. Scheduled for December 4, 2024, the workshop will cover themes such as "Communicate and Collaborate – Supporting the Parenting Journey" and "Communicate to Nurture – A Parent-School Partnership."

The workshops will address important aspects of parenting, including improving communication between parents and children, providing psychosocial support, building trust, sustaining student mental well-being, and supporting students' learning journeys. These sessions aim to create a strong rapport between educational institutions and families, ensuring a supportive environment for children's growth.

Principals from CBSE-affiliated schools in the Mumbai/Thane region are encouraged to attend the session, which will be held at Fortune Select Exotica in Navi Mumbai. The workshop will help school leaders assist parents in guiding their children's holistic development, empowering stakeholders with the tools and insights required to navigate current parenting challenges.

The CBSE's initiative underscores the importance of effective parenting in promoting the overall development of children and highlights the collective responsibility of schools and parents in nurturing the next generation.
