The 3rd Digital India RISC-V (DIR-V) Symposium 2026 is a two-day national symposium hosted by IIT Madras, in association with MeitY, Government of India, and RISC-V International. It brings together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, startups, academia, and students to accelerate India's indigenous RISC-V ecosystem and strengthen the nation's semiconductor capabilities.

With the theme "Empowering Bharat's Semiconductor Future," the symposium focuses on indigenous processor technologies, secure computing, hardware innovation, artificial intelligence, and the growing RISC-V ecosystem. It promotes collaboration across government, academia, research institutions, startups, and industry to drive innovation and support India's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat in semiconductor technology.
