Dr. R. Sarathi is a Professor of High Voltage Engineering at IIT Madras with 20+ years of experience in research, teaching, and consulting. He has been instrumental in developing the High Voltage Lab at IIT Madras. Dr. Sarathi has collaborated with top institutions worldwide, including AKITA University, Japan, Cardiff University, UK, and Purdue University, USA. His research areas include power apparatus monitoring, nano composite insulators, and pulse power techniques. As course coordinator, he ensures a rich, hands-on learning experience.
