Today, globally adolescents account for one fifth of the population i.e., 20% and in India it’s the largest population (21.4%). Their issues and problems are unique and therefore require early detection and sensitive handling. Anxiety, depression is on the rise. Anger and disruptive behaviour disturb school and home settings.
