Sabesan is a Positive Psychologist, leadership coach, and HR professional with over 33 years of experience in academia and industry, specializing in leadership development, employee well-being, coaching, psychometric assessment, and behavioral facilitation and institution building. He has coached more than 40 senior leaders, helping them enhance leadership effectiveness and prepare for strategic roles.
He is the creator of a proprietary framework on “Preserving Employees’ Well-Being” and has co-developed integrated coaching and wellness models for individuals and organizations operating in high-pressure environments. Dr. Sabesan’s academic and professional contributions include publishing 20 research papers, presenting 15 conference papers, guiding Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars, developing psychometric tools, authoring case studies and courseware modules, reviewing books, and contributing chapters to books on HRM and immersive wellness. He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology, Joint Director of the Corporate Wellness Champions Wing of Chennai Counselor Foundation (CCF), and Professor of Practice at VIT University.
He is also the Founder of Growth Catalyst.
