This hands-on course is divided into two parts:

• Part 1: Comprises a comprehensive experiments in electronics, covering circuit theory, analog and digital circuits, sensors and instrumentation, and measuring techniques.
• Part 2: Progresses to smart automation and control projects with sensor integration. Participants will gain exposure to the latest embedded controllers, such as Arduino, PIC, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32, with a focus on essential coding techniques like loops, arrays, and interrupts.

The course involves unique sensors to measure and store time-stamped data for temperature, humidity, light, sound, water quality, gas, and human pulse rate, all displayed on LCD / OLED / Computer screens. It also covers additional technologies, including RFID detection, relay activation, motor control, matrix keypads, and touch keys. The advanced application-based designs will be controlled remotely through mobile app monitoring and cloud-based IoT platforms.

• Participants will engage in project-building exercises that include PCB design for smart automation systems, utilizing sensors, amplifiers, signal conditioners, and 8/16 pin microcontrollers.
• Skills in circuit design, analysis, testing and coding/ debugging will be strengthened through 80% hands-on training and 20% background theory, with theoretical concepts verified through calculations and simulations.
